We have four beautiful facilities where we provide clinic based speech and language services for individuals from birth to adult. Our offices are located in Antelope Valley, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, and San Gabriel Valley. We provide the personalized therapeutic intervention plans to address your child’s specific deficit.
DV Therapy provides free or low cost speech screenings for schools in and around all of our four office locations – Antelope Valley, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, and San Gabriel Valley. We have outstanding contracts with private and charter schools. Our therapists provide speech and language services, work with the staff to create an environment that will maximize the child’s learning potential, and develop home programs with the parents for continuity of care.
DV Therapy provides occupational therapy services to work on challenges associated with developmental disabilities to maximize the individual’s potential with sensory integration therapy and daily functioning. We are accepting referrals in all four of our offices – Antelope Valley, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, and San Gabriel Valley.
We provide speech and language therapy services to nearby skilled nursing facilities within all of our Antelope Valley, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, and San Gabriel Valley region.
A foreign accent is simply evidence of learning American English as a second or additional language.
A regional American English accent is a set of pronunciation patterns consistent with the speaker’s native regional dialect.
Our social skills groups are led by SLPs and SLPAs in all four of our office locations – Antelope Valley, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, and San Gabriel Valley. Our mission is to help clients develop social competencies to build stronger relationships with their peers. Our social skills group ranging from 3-6 years of age, 7-10 years of age, 11-13 years of age, and 14+.
Telepractice is the application of telecommunications technology to the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology professional services at a distance by linking clinician to client or clinician to clinician for assessment, intervention, and/or consultation.
We currently provide teletherapy services to assist with voice therapy for adults who are unable to travel to the office and students at Charter schools.
Do you or your loved one have difficulty talking? There are options that might help. There are two main types of AAC—unaided systems and aided systems. You may use one or both types. Most people who use AAC use a combination of AAC types to communicate.
